This quote means that even though everyone is doing it, doesn’t means it is always right. For example, if your friends say that they want to go rob a car doesn’t mean you have to agree with them. It’s always better to choose the right choice for yourself no matter what. If you choose the wrong choice for yourself then that’s for fault and no one else's and you have to be responsible for your own consequences.
